8th grade science students over at West Middle had some visitors recently learn about how a common type of medication works! Binghamton University biomedical engineering graduate students created mixtures for extended and rapid-release medications that were tested on red Skittles. Students were able to observe how different variations of ingredients resulted in very different release times based on physical and chemical changes taking place #BPatriotProud 📸: Brittany McKeown
